# Alien
Alien is a proof-of-humanity protocol with its own Layer 1 blockchain. It verifies
that users are real humans without storing biometric data, using the Continuous
Human Verification Protocol (CHVP).

## About
Alien Network provides decentralized identity verification through privacy-preserving
biometrics. The protocol retains only cryptographic proofs, hashes and Merkle roots—
no personal data, no documents, no biometrics are stored.
