What is an Aliencoin grant?

An Aliencoin (ALIEN) grant rewards users for verifying their identity, inviting others and participating in the Alien Network.

How much do I receive and when do I receive it?

The Alien Network is established on the principle that each user’s contributions give the network life and thus represent its fundamental value. This is why the network’s currency, ALIEN, functions as compensation for verification and participation, with the value of each grant determined by the action, its quality and which phase the network is in. During Phase 0 and 1, grants are focused on verification, invitations and engagement.

• Verification: Biometric verification (20,000 ALIEN) involves completing facial recognition scanning to verify your humanity and uniqueness. Date of birth verification (5,250 ALIEN) becomes available in Phase 1, as will contact book submission (5,250 ALIEN).

• Invitation: Invitation grants (20 or 3,520 ALIEN, depending on the invite type) are earned after a user invites a contact who then completes verification and receives their Alien ID. More information on invitation grants can be found here. 

• Engagement: Daily grants (3 ALIEN per claim) are available every 24 hours with no cap on total claims during Phase 0. In Phase 1, consecutive streaks multiply daily grant value through sustained participation: starting at week 3 (15+ days), users receive a 10% bonus that increases to 20% at week 4 and continues growing until capped at 100%. Missing two consecutive days resets the streak.

What are phases?

The grant program is organized into phases. Each phase defines who can participate, what tasks are available and the value of the reward.

• Phase 0: Supports up to 500,000 users worldwide. These users will join using only biometric verification. Phase 0 is focused on validating the reward mechanics and recruiting the network’s earliest users.

• Phase 1: Once Phase 0 reaches 500,000 users, Phase 1 begins. From this moment, invitations will become mandatory, new users must verify their birth date and country-based social graphs will be activated. Additional grants will be added in this phase, which are explained below under “coming soon”.

How can I earn more with each new phase?

Each phase of the Alien Network unlocks new ways to earn more ALIEN. When Phase 1 begins, daily grants jump from 3 ALIEN to up to 60 ALIEN per week, and 5,250 ALIEN grants are available for verifying your date of birth and submitting your contact book. In Phase 2, daily grants increase to 100 ALIEN per week. The key to earning is invitations: to earn more, invite more.
